me & you
The words fade so
and my vision blurs
How can you haunt me,
even as i lie dying?
The wailing rings in my ears,
the monitor i wish would stop beeping
& i,
i float in between
i watch my pain
& the absence of sadness
your pain, like mine, visible
it crawls through our veins
and seeps through our pores
stains our faces and
our fingertips which we hold to our lips.
i can taste your blood and
feel your kiss,
as it takes away my tears
My fingers laced with yours &
your legs entwined in mine
Where there was no beginning nor end,
there was no me, or you
